Psalm 42

2 As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for you, O God. (NAB)

Does my soul long for you O Lord?

Do I yearn to see your face?

I give you thanks Lord, that deep inside me a search for you resides.

Thank you Lord that I don’t have to always “feel” a longing for you.

For I know that you are there.

I am thankful that, “The love of God is not a warm fuzzy.” (Fr. Barron)
