Waking up

I walked out the front door this evening to turn the steaks on the grill. I looked down and guess what I saw.

The first flowers to peak up in Teague’s flower garden. I was really surprised to see them, but we have been extremely warm lately.

When I was driving home today, it was all I could do to avoid all of the tumbleweeds. The area is so dry that we are facing a severe fire hazard.

But even in the cold and dry these little flowers share their beauty. They have awakened from their winter sleep.

May I follow their lead…

“The sun shines equally both on cedars and on every tiny flower. In just the same way God looks after every sould as if it had no equal.” (St. Therese of Lisieux)
