“May these reflections of mine give him pleasure, as much as Yahweh gives me! (Psalms 104: 34)
“The desire to recover the unity of all Christians is a gift of Christ and a call of the Holy Spirit.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 820)
I remember the first time that I read this sentence from the Catechism. I thought to myself, “Wow! I have that gift!” I can remember even as a young boy wishing that all Christians would come together as one. I suppose it is a part of my amiable personality (something I learned about myself in a management class.)
“Indeed in nothing is the power of the Dark Lord more clearly shown than in the estrangement that divides all those who still oppose him.” (Tolkein, The Fellowship of the Ring)
Peter Kreeft is a brilliant author, and he has free lectures on available on his website.
I highly recommend this talk on Ecumenism without Compromise.

I just wanted to let you know Davin that I enjoy your blog, even though I don’t always comment here. I look forward to checking out Kreeft’s talks later in the weekend.
Your comments encourage me greatly!
I would love to hear what you think of the talk.
